Eric Lindsey
Hello, my name is Eric Lindsey, and I have personally embraced the Moonlight Side Hustle philosophy for the past seven years. I started my career in the construction industry as a skilled union carpenter. The lifestyle was very comfortable, and it provided tremendous support for my family. I worked year-round for the 6th largest general contractor in America from 2004 to 2008.
However, in 2009, the economy became turbulent, and I began experiencing regular layoffs. In 2012, I eventually secured a stable carpentry job, but I was confronted with corporate politics. In 2015, I made the decision to prioritize financial security over job security. I realized that a traditional job wouldn’t offer the level of security I desired for my family. Therefore, I started studying business, side hustles, and real estate. Shortly after making this decision, I launched my first business—a janitorial company—as well as a side hustle in real estate.
My aim is to guide you on a successful path, helping you avoid the mistakes I made along the way. I have achieved this level of success while working a full-time job, supporting my family, and actively participating in my church.
Early Life
I operated this company while maintaining a full-time job. I worked my full-time job during the day and operated my side hustle in the evenings and on weekends. While running the janitorial company, I also studied various forms of real estate investing. I came across a mobile home park investing site while listening to a podcast, where the host offered to pay a fee to anyone who could locate a mobile home park for acquisition. Long story short, I found a mobile home park and submitted the lead to the investment company.
When they closed the deal on the park, I received funding of $125,000. This deal was life-changing and set me on the path I am on today. I want to offer you the same opportunity that I discovered.
